What is a Job Club?

A Job Club brings together unemployed people of all ages who are looking for work. The Job Club will build your confidence and show you how jobs/training courses can be found. It also provides you with the necessary resources to put a plan in place for your career going forward

How does the job club work

It provides services to help participants to gain employment including

  • Job Seeking Skills Course
  • One to One Guidance
  • Support & advice in sourcing jobs
  • Resource Centre
  • Up to date information and support on accessing government funded initiatives  e.g Work Placement Programmes Internships  etc.

Resource Centre

The Centre is open to everyone and provides the following facilities

  • Computers, photo copying and typing
  • Access to internet & E-mail for job seeking purposes including assistance in using the FAS/DSP and other recruitment websites
  • Guidance with developing  Curriculum Vitae and Covering Letters
  • Assistance in completing application forms
  • Browsing through the recruitment sections of local newspapers
  • Free telephone, stationary & stamps to help with your job search
