Introduction to Computers Classes 

Computer classes are run on an ongoing basis in the Centre. These classes are very individual based and can cover many aspects of using a computer from turning it on to shopping and paying bills online!

Do you want to learn how to send an email or Skype a relative abroad? Do you want to learn how to type a letter or renew your passport online?.

 Supervised Evening Study

Evening study is available in the Community Resource Centre for Secondary School students.

It runs Monday to Thursday from 4:15pm to 6:15pm. Cost is €10 per week, discounts available for families.

MABS (Money,Advice and Budgeting Service)

MABS hold outreach clinics in the Community Resource Centre by appointment only. The Roscommon Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is the only free, confidential, independent and non-judgmental service for people in debt, or in danger of getting into debt.

MABS works with clients by supporting them in drawing up realistic budgets and maximizing their incomes. MABS does not give ‘financial advice’ – they do not advise clients on investments or on specific financial products.

 Citizens Information (CI)

CI are in attendance in the Community Resource Centre every Wednesday morning from 10am until 12:45pm.

They provide free, confidential, independent and impartial information to all. CI provides comprehensive information on public services and the entitlements of citizens in Ireland. They gather information from various government departments and agencies, and make sure that you have all the information you need, presented in an easy-to-understand way.

  French Grinds

Are available in the Centre weekday evenings during the school term from a fluent French speaker.

If you are looking for help in conversational French or if your preparing for exams then call Tommy on 087- 7609102 to book your place. All levels catered for.

Meets every week in the Community Resource Centre. Fáilte Isteach is a third age community project with older volunteers welcoming new migrants through conversational English classes.

Fáilte Isteach works at breaking down the barriers that migrants and communities face by extending the hands of friendship and goodwill through the practical, welcoming and inclusive manner in which the programme is delivered.
